Poornaprajna College and Postgraduate Center, Udupi under the joint auspices of Human Rights Unit and the Student Welfare Association, organized a guest talk on 12-12-2023 to commemorate Human rights day celebration. Prof .Nithyananda N, Administrative representative of Poornaprajna Institutions, addressed the students as a chief guest.
‘Human Rights Day should not be just a one day celebration, a citizen should be aware of his rights, right is a responsibility, human rights day will be meaningful only when the rights are maintained at the right time ‘ said the Chief guest .The Principal of the college, Dr. Ramu L, presided over the program. In his Presidential remark he addressed the students that these kinds of rituals will help the students to realize their responsibility and asked the students to make the right use of the program. Human Rights Unit Co-coordinator Mrs.Shalini, Student Welfare Officer Mrs. Jayalakshmi were present.
Faculty members and students of the college participated in the program. Ms. Kritika welcomed the gathering and Ms Ashwini proposed the vote of thanks. Ms. Ankita was the Master of the ceremony.
