Udupi Shri Admar Mutt Education Council (USAMEC for short) is a society registered under the Karnataka Societies Registration Act, 1960. The visionary Savant His Holiness Shri Vibudhesha Theertha Swamiji of Shri Admar Mutt established Udupi Shri Admar Mutt Education Council in the year 1962 with the view of serving the nation by providing the right kind of education to the nation’s youth.
Udupi Shri Admar Mutt Education Council was started with the specific aim of imparting right kind of education to the future generation and infusing a spirit of patriotism in children of the nation.
His Holiness Shri Vibudhesha Theertha Swamiji was the President of the USAMEC since its inception. The USAMEC continues to own, run, support and maintain educational institutions for imparting value-based education from Kindergarten to Post Graduation. These Institutions are located in Admar, Udupi, Padubidiri, Bengaluru, Belur, Aldur, Sangameshwarapet and Bhadravathi in the State of Karnataka and in Mumbai and in New Delhi. The disciplines, apart from general schooling, include Science, Philosophy, Commerce, Management, Technology etc.
