The student council and Fine Arts lab of Poornaprajna College Udupi was inaugurated by His Holiness Shri Eashapriya Swamiji on 1oth October 2023. Dr Rajendra S Naik ,Principal KVMS Govt FG college Koteshwara was the Guest of Honour. Dradha Vrata Gorrick, Renowned artist Divya Kala Art, Parashurama Adve , Managing Trustee, Prachi Foundation were the special invitees. The programme was presided over by Dr G S Chandrashekhar , Honorary Secretary, PCMC Udupi. On this occasion , various books authored by the teaching faculty of the college were released by His Holiness.
In his inaugural address, Swamiji encouraged the students to actively engage in the innovative initiatives of the Student Council and Fine Arts Lab for their personal growth. He emphasized that success is attainable for those who can control their thoughts, actions, and words. Swamiji stressed the importance of valuing time, discovering one’s talents, and realizing their dreams. The Chief Guest, Dr. Rajendra S. Nayak, remarked that life is filled with unexpected twists, and the Student Council plays a pivotal role in preparing students to face challenges by nurturing their leadership qualities.
Dr. Ramu S, the Principal, administered oaths to the office bearers of the Student Council, entrusting them with their responsibilities. Special Officer of student council Prof. Vasantha Raviprakash and Student Welfare Officers Dr. Ramesh T. S and Prof. Jayalaxmi were also present. Mr. Manush Kotian, the President of the Student Council, welcomed the gathering .Ms. Amrutha Bhat, III B.Com introduced the distinguished guests. Ms. Nikshitha C, III B.Sc , delivered the vote of thanks, and Ms. Shradha, a third-year B.Com student, was the master of ceremony.
