At Yelahanka Poornaprajna (High School)
The tree planting ceremony : H H Swamiji speaking on the occasion of planting of trees by the forest department, on the 26th June 1993. Also seen on the dais are the then Chief Minister of Karnataka, Sri Veerappa Moily, Ex Minister of Education Dr. Jeevaraj Alva along with the forest officials. Over 40 trees which border the school compound were planted on that day. The Copper Pod Trees, The Rain Trees , Gulmohur , Pongam trees, Jackfruit trees and the Jacaranda border the school compound today in the shape of a heart and add to the greenery in the vast compound.
